Jessica Tulloch, one of own Young Adults, will share from her personal experience about the human rights situation in Mindanao in the southern Philippines, and grass root communities’ initiatives for change.  Inspired by the UMW mission studies she participated in as an adolescent, Jessica’s journey in the Philippines began in 1999 as a young adult missionary with Global Ministries. She returned to the Philippines in 2002 where she spent twelve and a half years as a volunteer staff person of the Ecological Justice and Indigenous Peoples Program of Initiatives for Peace in Mindanao.
