Art Making for All

During the season of Lent, we are invited into the slow work of tending to all that God is restoring within and between us. At our February Art Making for All session, we will embody this theme through work on a group stitching project. Please join us immediately following worship to create a group quilt for our altar table as a physical piece of beauty and resistance to all the violence we are witnessing in our country. All are welcome and encouraged to stay after worship – no previous skill is necessary!
Art Making for All is a program of St. Paul and St. Andrew. At a time where overwhelm and despair can feel close at hand, this is a space for everyone to gather, explore, and practice living into our creativity as children of a Creative God. Art Making for All is rooted in process art, where the focus is on the joy of creating rather than the finished product. Together, we will experiment, play, and explore materials freely in community—there is no “right” way to do this and all are welcome.
We hope you’ll come make, play, and connect with us!
