Carnegie Hall Citywide: Meghan Kasanders, soprano & Dror Baitel, piano

St. Paul & St. Andrew United Methodist Church and Carnegie Hall Citywide presents a free concert by Meghan Kasanders—hailed by Opera News as a “wonderfully promising, rich dramatic soprano”—and esteemed collaborative pianist Dror Baitel. The eclectic program includes Berg’s Sieben frühe Lieder (“Seven Early Songs”), composed while Berg was studying with Schoenberg; Rachmaninoff’s Six Songs, Op. 38 (the composer’s final set of songs for solo voice and piano); and Hair Emergency! by celebrated contemporary American composer Richard Pearson Thomas.

Presented by St. Paul & St. Andrew in collaboration with Carnegie Hall.

No advance tickets or reservations required; seating is first come, first served. Doors on West End Avenue open at 6:30 p.m. (accessible entrance on W86th Street)
