Moral March on Washington and to the Polls

June 18 @ 3:49 am - 8:55 pm

“It is not enough for people to be angry — the supreme task is to organize and unite people so that their anger becomes a transforming force.” Martin Luther King, Jr.

As we witness injustice all around us, it is time to come together. Instead of giving into hopelessness and despair, it is time to join with others to demand justice. One way to do that is to join with hundreds of thousands of people across this country who are part of the Poor People’s Campaign (PPC).

The New York Annual Conference of the Methodist Church is mobilizing to march on Washington, DC for the Mass Poor People’s & Low Wage Workers’ Assembly on Saturday, June 18th.

St. Paul & St. Andrew will have a bus leaving from 263 W 86th Street (on the Upper West Side of Manhattan).
