Thank you for your interest in donating items to support our efforts. Due to limited personnel and space capacity, we can only receive items the day before they are distributed at our Monday Clothing Resource fair. Our next dates to accept items are:
- Sunday August 20, 12-1pm
- Sunday September 10, 12:30-1:30pm
We take items on designated days when we have a crew of volunteers to receive and sort them. Want to volunteer? Go to our Lotsa Helping Hands page to learn more and signup.
Unable to bring items on a Sunday but still want to donate? With prior notice we can also accept donations on the Mondays (8-9:15am) that we have our clothing resource fair. Contact Susie to request this with 3 days’ notice.
ACCEPTED ITEMS:
- Men’s, women’s and children’s clothing (in season), including shoes (not formal shoes)
- New socks and undergarments
- Toys, including stuffed animals (nothing enormous or with complicated instructions)
- Spanish books and board books in English
- Backpacks, purses
- Strollers & baby carriers (high need)
- Bicycles & scooters
- Fresh Direct Bags (to help us sort)
- Financial Contributions (use the drop down menu to select “Give to 2. Sanctuary – Migrant Support”)
WE CANNOT ACCEPT
- Books in English
- Housewares (including sheets, blankets, and towels)
- Business or formal attire (blazers, formal wear…)
- Used undergarments or stained/torn clothing

All of Us Clothing: They do pickups on the UWS side-Tue & Sat, you must contact 2-3 days prior to schedule. No books.
The Sharing Place/LSA Family Health Service, 333 E 115 (no books)
Housing Works Various locations including 96/Bway (no kids clothing, no toys)
All Angels Church 251 W 80 St (only men’s & women’s clothing, M-F, 10am-4pm, Sun 12-8pm)
Little Shop of Kindness 12 W 40th St. (check the site for needed items and the donation hours)
