Happy Birthday, St. Paul & St. Andrew!
The congregation that became St. Paul & St. Andrew officially began on March 5, 1835!
So, at worship this Sunday we will celebrate turning 189 years old by singing, praising, praying and dedicating the restored stained-glass window, ‘Paul Before Agrippa’. Oh, and there will be cake. What’s a birthday without a birthday cake??
We are expecting a few special guests, including our Councilmember Gale Brewer, Gianfranco Grande & Bridget Fidler from Partners for Sacred places, and Ann Friedman from the NY Landmarks Conservancy.
Right after the service we’ll grab a piece of cake and gather in the front of the sanctuary for a short Congregational Meeting to hear about the $250,000 matching grant from the Fund for Sacred Places and our upcoming Capital Campaign. Please bring your questions and good energy!!
