“Very truly, I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and is buried, it remains just a single grain; but if it is buried, it bears much fruit.” John 12:24
People have been puzzling out the meaning of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus since the moment it happened. Really, the most important question is not, what does it mean theoretically (theologically), but, what does it mean for me? What does it mean for your life?
That question begs another. If the death of Jesus brings life, are there also things in me that really need to die, in order to make room for new birth, for new life?
