What do they all have in common? They have shields (or are shields). Shields protect the body, repelling instruments of harm.
This week we’ll be diving in the popular metaphor found in the letter to the church in Ephesus that so vividly lays out the necessary ingredients needed in order “to be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
As we continue in our month’s theme of Finding Faith, it is my hope that we can explore the shield of faith, the thing or things that keep us both physically and spiritually safe as we traverse through this world.
