We’ve waited all year; it’s almost here! What? The SPSA Christmas Pageant, of course!
This year, we are able to enjoy the pageant in person, with some characters (God, for example) beaming in remotely. I can’t wait! Lea has written a creative and inspiring script, and I, once again, will do a star turn as sheep #2. Or #3. Can’t remember.
Sunday’s service lets us take a closer look at Mary, the mother of Jesus. Or, as she’s known in the eastern Orthodox tradition, the ‘Theotokos’, the ‘Bearer of God’. May the mother of God help birth us all into new life this Christmas!
