Transfiguration Sunday

Transfiguration Sunday

When the two of them had crossed the river, Elijah said to Elisha, “Tell me, what I may I do for you?”  – 2 Kings 2:9

This week, the New York Annual Conference is providing all the churches with a ‘respite worship service.’  They figure Pastor Lea and I, and the other clergy, need a bit of a break, after nearly a year of online worship services.  So, with gratitude, we will offer our community that respite service for Transfiguration Sunday.

‘What can I do for you?’ is a question we have been asking each other a lot over the past year.  We are more aware than ever of how much we need each other.  Lea and I hope that, whatever you find yourself in need of, you will speak up and let us know.  It is a privilege to serve God alongside each of you in these challenging times.

Love,
K
