“You are the salt of the earth…. You are the light of the world.” Matthew 5 

When Jesus speaks to his followers in the Sermon on the Mount, he doesn’t say that they could be, might be, or even will be salt and light. He uses the indicative: You are salt and you are light. That’s the reality. You are made to flavor and brighten the world.

Join us this Sunday as we welcome Metropolitan District Superintendent Rev. Simeon Law, who will preach for us, and lead our after-worship annual church conference. Rev. Law is already known to us, as he and his family often join us for worship, but this will be our first opportunity to hear him preach, and have him fill us in a bit on what is stirring in our denomination.
