When Jesus calls us to something, what are we called to leave behind? Can we leave it behind, and should we? And if we can’t at that moment just upend everything and follow, whatever, whatever, how does it leave us feeling, that we’ve been, ourselves, left behind? These are the things that the famous call of Jesus, “Follow me, and I will take you fishing for people,” leaves me wondering.
