In light of the rapidly rising Covid rates in the city, congregational participation for this Sunday will be from home only; congregation will not be present in the sanctuary.

This Sunday, our worship service will be livestreamed on our YouTube channel, with the congregation gathering safely from a distance. It seems like a fitting Sunday to do so, as we celebrate Epiphany. It’s a time when we read and reflect on the insight and revelation of those wise ones. They traversed distance, uncertainty, and challenge. They pushed past the boundary of their own experience and understanding. They did all of it in order to find the place where God’s love was born. They didn’t have much to go on. They had way more questions than answers. But the magi, in their wisdom, knew that their search for Jesus was worth facing all of the unknowns. A star passing across the heavens changed their lives, and their epiphany changed all of ours.
