The Last Breakfast

Today’s Reading: John 21:1-17

“Jesus said, Peter, do you love me? Then feed my sheep.” John 21

What are you hungry for? What’s missing in your life right now, your quarantined life? A hug? Human contact? Work? Coffee hour?

That favorite whatever from Trader Joe’s, that’s somehow not worth the lines? A just society? A competent government? We each could make a list.

Here’s another question: What are you able to do, even in this situation, to feed someone? Maybe that’s a phone call or a text to someone you wish you could see in person. Maybe a prayer for someone you know is in pain. Or an offer to grab some groceries for the person who lives nearby. Something big. Something little.

Let’s do some feeding. Let’s do some loving.
