Meet the Artists
Santa Claire (singer): Santa Claire is a distinguished performer based in New York City with roots in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Recently, Santa captivated audiences with her debut cabaret, Night Of My Nights, at The Green Room 42, under the expert direction of Marilyn Maye. In her latest performance in San Miguel de Allende, she took on a leading role as Holly in the innovative musical Bikers in Camelot. Her diverse credits include a notable multitrack role in King Lear (BRT), directed by Eric Tucker, as well as numerous self-produced cabaret shows in Mexico. Additionally, Santa has been featured in Bill Solly’s Solly’s Follies in New York and presented her acclaimed one-woman show, Two Worlds Colliding, at Tongue in Cheek’s Plus One Solo Festival, directed by Jake Lipman. David Pearl (Pianist):The author of Piano Exercises for Dummies, Chord Theory Explained, The Art of Billy Strayhorn, The Art of Steely Dan, Learn to Play Classic Rock Piano from the Masters, and Color Your Chords, David Pearl arranged The Jazz Piano Collection, 22 jazz standards for solo piano, Classic Jazz Collection, 27 jazz standards for piano and voice, and Bach ‘n’ Roll, 20 pop songs set in the styles of the great classical composers, along with numerous other music books. He co-authored 100 Blues Lessons for Hal Leonard’s Keyboard Lesson Goldmine Series and arranged six songs for Classic Rock, in Hal Leonard’s Creative Piano Solo series. He arranged and recorded Prokofiev’s Scythian Suite for piano four hands, and has performed throughout the United States, in Canada, Russia and Japan. Born in Denver, Colorado, he graduated cum laude from the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver, and lives in New York City, where he keeps busy performing, arranging, and teaching.
