Reporting Back From Palestine: What’s Our Christian Response?

We are invited to join the Social Action Committee of Park Slope United Methodist Church for a conversation led by Colleen Moore (she/her), Director of Peace With Justice at the General Board of Church and Society, the social justice agency of the United Methodist Church and Conor Foley (they/them), Outreach Minister at First Presbyterian Church in Brooklyn Heights.
Colleen and Conor recently returned from visiting Palestine. They will share what they witnessed, discuss settler colonialism and Christian Zionism, explore a progressive Christian response towards peace with justice in the Holy Land, and invite questions and conversation. Doors open at 6:30pm and light refreshments will be available. Presentation and discussion will run fron 7:00-8:30pm.
