Our Ministries

Youth

Welcome to our Youth Ministry

"Rejoice while you are still young; may your hearts cheer you in the days of your youth. Follow the desires of your heart and the vision of your eyes. Keep in mind that God will call you to the judgment of all these things." - Ecclesiastes 11:9

Our middle and high school age-children gather weekly(ish) for food fellowship and fun. The priorities of our time spent together are to build relationships with one another and with God, as well as to make space for thinking about and living out how we exist in this community and the world around us. We combine Bible study, engagement in social justice, service opportunities, silliness and lots and lots of food to make our time together both meaningful and engaging.

The youth group enjoys monthly seasonal activities such as apple picking, ice skating, lunches and the much anticipated lock-ins. These activities give the youth group members a chance to bond with each other and build community as well as allowing the opportunity to bring new friends who may be uncomfortable in a church setting. The group also participates in the mission of the church by working with the community in our wider missional activities like preparing for our “Miracle Mondays” Migrant Resource fairs and participating in conference-wide youth gatherings.
