Friends,
What are we doing here? Here in this church, here in this city, here on this planet? That’s a question I hear God asking me, from time to time: “K, what are you doing here?” Sometimes it’s more like, What do you think you’re doing here?
When God asks Elijah that question, it’s because Elijah is afraid. He’s managed to offend the privileged and powerful, and his life is in danger. An occupational hazard of any true prophet.
So, what are you doing here? Join us Sunday as we assess the present and look ahead to a perfect, promising, and perilous future.
