Homework Help

We tutor neighborhood children, including newly arrived children from local shelters, and teach English to their parents and caregivers on Wednesday evenings during the school year. Students from elementary through high school are served and we welcome tutors who are high-school aged and beyond.

Ministry Support

Worship and programs of spiritual and ethical formation across all of our ministries are the foundation of our congregational life and our efforts to create a more just world for all, and they don’t happen without our volunteer lay leaders.

Holiday Baking

Each Thanksgiving and Christmas, we supply our partner, Goddard Riverside with thousands of cookies and hundreds of pies for their community holiday meals. Do you love to bake? We need you!

westside-campaign

West Side Campaign Against Hunger

Founded by the St. Paul & St. Andrew community in our church basement in 1979, the Westside Campaign Against Hunger is now an independent organization focused on alleviating hunger by ensuring that all New Yorkers have access with dignity to a choice of healthy food and supportive services. Volunteer at our 86th St. location or their new warehouse on 180th St.

Choir

Sunday mornings before worship at 10:00am, our volunteer choir assembles for fellowship and practice. It’s a wonderful opportunity to praise God in song and be in community. If you are interested in participating in choir, your voice is welcome!
