Friends,
We talk a lot in church about calling. Experiencing a call to something, or away from something. A call that feels like it comes from the Holy One. A call that we may find hard to resist, even while we often resist it!
This Sunday, we will consider what God’s call might mean in our lives. The prophet Jonah hears God’s call, and does exactly the opposite of what he’s asked. Four fisherfolk have a quick encounter with Jesus, and leave their former lives. So what about us?
