Lessons & Carols

December 18 update: We are taking extra precautions in light of the rapidly rising Covid rates in the city. Beginning tomorrow (December 19), congregational participation for the next three Sundays will be from home only; congregation will not be present in the sanctuary. It is our hope to offer a Christmas Eve service with in-person (vaccinated and tested) congregation, but will continue to watch trends and are prepared to pivot the service to online should we need to. Click here for more information about Christmas Eve.

A recording will be available on our YouTube channel after the service.

St. Paul & St. Andrew’s ever-miraculous (“How on earth did they do that?”) Service of Lessons and Carols is back this Sunday, after a year’s absence: “O Come, All Ye Faithful” or “What Child Is This?” or “Angels We Have Heard on High” or Sir Arthur Sullivan’s “It Came upon the Midnight Clear” or “The First Nowell” live from the newly uncarpeted, hardwood-floored Sanctuary. Have your pipes all warmed up and ready to warble from home. Strings, oboe, flute, and a string quintet will join the amazing SPSA choir and Lesson readers in providing words and music to help mark and celebrate the birth of Jesus. Prepare for uplift!
