Friends,
Have you ever been hurt, even to the point of feeling betrayed? (And don’t we all know what it’s like to be hurt?) If so, this Sunday’s sermon is for you.
I’m looking forward to joining you in the pulpit this week to preach on Isaiah 5:1-7, a text frequently called the song of the vineyard. Together, we’ll deepen our understanding of this passage, historically, literarily, and poetically, and I’ll highlight a surprising feature in its composition. We’ll also consider how this text can offer inspiration for working through difficult times.
Let’s gather on Sunday and hear how grapes can point us toward grace.
See you there,
Julie (Rev. Dr. Julie Faith Parker)
P.S. Don’t forget to stick around after the service when I’ll be signing copies of my new book, “Eve Isn’t Evil”.
